The WILKERSON F18-02-SK00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove particulates and moisture from compressed air lines in industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. Featuring a 1/4 inch NPT port with standard NPT end connections, this filter flows up to 50 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM), making it well suited for light to medium duty air circuits. The filter element is sintered polyethylene, which captures solid contaminants before they reach downstream equipment such as valves, actuators, and tools. It is installed by pneumatic technicians and maintenance professionals as part of a filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) assembly or as a standalone inline filter.
This filter fits into general purpose compressed air systems operating across a wide temperature range, with a rated minimum of -13 degrees F. The polycarbonate bowl with nylon bowl guard offers a balance of chemical resistance and impact protection in typical shop and plant environments. A built-in sight glass lets technicians monitor bowl conditions without disassembly. The manual drain allows controlled removal of collected liquid from the 1.7 oz bowl capacity. The modular connection design supports integration into Wilkerson Series 18 modular FRL systems, simplifying multi-component installations where space and port alignment matter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and modular component for Wilkerson Series 18 compressed air filter assemblies with 1/4 inch NPT porting.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic or maintenance technician. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before servicing or installing this filter. Mount the filter vertically with the bowl facing downward to ensure proper liquid collection and drainage. Follow applicable facility and OSHA compressed air safety guidelines during installation and maintenance.
