The WILKERSON F08-02-SS00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove contaminants from pneumatic supply lines. Part of the Series 08 modular filter lineup, it accepts a 1/4 inch NPT port and delivers up to 42 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) of filtered airflow. The filter element is sintered polyethylene, which captures particulates and moisture aerosols before they reach downstream tooling, valves, or instrumentation. An automatic drain continuously purges collected liquid from the aluminum bowl without manual intervention. This unit is installed by pneumatic system technicians, maintenance mechanics, and industrial pipefitters working on compressed air distribution systems.
The F08-02-SS00B suits general purpose compressed air filtration in light industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. Its modular connection design allows it to be combined with other Series 08 components such as regulators and lubricators to build a full filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) assembly. The 1/4 inch NPT end connections are compatible with standard compressed air piping and push-to-connect or threaded fittings commonly found in production, maintenance, and process environments. Minimum rated operating temperature is -13 degrees F, making it suitable for unheated shop spaces or cold-weather installations.
Designed as a modular Series 08 general purpose compressed air filter with 1/4 inch NPT connections, compatible with other Series 08 filter, regulator, and lubricator components for inline FRL assembly builds.
A licensed or qualified pneumatic systems technician should install this filter. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply line before beginning installation. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to NPT connections and tighten to fitting manufacturer specifications using a pipe wrench. Mount the unit vertically with the bowl oriented downward to ensure proper automatic drain function.
