The WILKERSON F08-02-SL00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove contaminants from compressed air lines in pneumatic systems. Built on the Series 08 platform, it accepts a 1/4 in NPT port connection and delivers a rated flow of 42 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM). The filter uses a sintered polyethylene filter media element to capture particulates before they reach downstream tools, valves, and actuators. The bowl is aluminum with a nylon bowl guard ring, and a manual drain handles collected liquid. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance mechanics, and pneumatic system installers are the typical tradespeople who service this component.
The F08-02-SL00B is suited for general industrial and commercial compressed air applications where a compact, modular filter station is needed at the point of use. Its modular connection design allows it to be grouped with other Series 08 components such as regulators and lubricators to form a filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) assembly. Typical installation locations include pneumatic tool drops, control panel air prep stations, and machine inlet connections where the 1/4 in NPT port size matches the downstream piping or tubing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation filter for compressed air systems using 1/4 in NPT connections. Compatible with other WILKERSON Series 08 modular air preparation components.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic systems technician or industrial maintenance mechanic. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before removing or installing any inline filter. Apply thread sealant to NPT connections per the fitting manufacturer recommendation and applicable plant or facility standards. Mount the filter with the bowl oriented downward to allow condensate to collect at the drain.
