The WILKERSON F03-02-000 is a miniature compressed air filter designed to remove particulate contamination from compressed air lines in pneumatic systems. Rated at 24 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) with a 5-micron filtration rating, this filter keeps downstream components clean and operating reliably. The polycarbonate bowl provides visibility for monitoring accumulated liquid and debris without disassembly. A manual drain allows controlled removal of collected moisture and contaminants. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance mechanics, and pneumatic system installers are the primary trades that service this type of inline filter.
The F03-02-000 is suited for light-duty and miniature pneumatic installations where space is limited and clean, dry air is critical. Common applications include instrument air lines, small pneumatic control circuits, and point-of-use filtration ahead of solenoid valves, actuators, or air-operated tools. The 1/4 inch NPT end connections make it straightforward to integrate into existing piping or modular filter-regulator-lubricator assemblies. With a 1-ounce bowl capacity, this filter is best matched to lower-flow, lower-contamination service points rather than high-volume compressed air mains.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install miniature compressed air filter for pneumatic systems using 1/4 inch NPT ported components within the Wilkerson F03 series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified industrial maintenance mechanic or pneumatic systems technician. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before removing or installing the filter. Verify that system operating pressure and temperature remain within the filter's rated limits before returning to service. Thread sealant or PTFE tape applied to the NPT threads is standard practice — do not overtighten the polycarbonate bowl, as it is not designed for pipe-wrench force.
