The WILKERSON B28-04-FL00B is a single-piece filter/regulator (FRL) combination unit designed for compressed air systems in industrial and commercial pneumatic applications. This Series 28 unit combines filtration and pressure regulation into one compact body, reducing installation footprint and simplifying maintenance. It handles up to 200 SCFM flow capacity and a maximum supply pressure of 250 psi. The aluminum body and bowl construction keep weight low at 1.87 pounds. A 5-micron filter element removes particulate contamination before air reaches downstream equipment. A manual drain allows condensate removal without disassembling the bowl. Licensed HVAC techs, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers.
The B28-04-FL00B fits standard compressed air distribution lines using 1/2 NPT end connections. It is suited for both light industrial and heavy-duty shop air systems where a single combined filter/regulator is preferred over separate components. The unit supports modular connection to other Series 28 components, allowing system expansion without additional plumbing. Operating temperature range is -13 degrees F to 150 degrees F, making it appropriate for most indoor and sheltered outdoor installations. The 1/4 NPT gauge port accepts a standard pressure gauge, though no gauge is included. The 2.9-ounce bowl capacity handles typical condensate loads in moderate-humidity environments.
Designed for use with Series 28 modular compressed air treatment systems using 1/2 NPT connections. Modular connection feature allows direct coupling with other compatible Series 28 filter, regulator, and lubricator components.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or industrial maintenance technician. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply line before installing or servicing this unit. The unit should be mounted vertically with the bowl facing downward to allow proper condensate collection and drainage. Follow applicable OSHA and local compressed air system codes when making connections and setting operating pressures.
