The WIKA 9834031 is an analog pressure gauge designed for continuous pressure monitoring in industrial, commercial, and mechanical systems. It features a 4.5-inch dial for easy readability and measures pressure from 0 to 200 psi. The thermoplastic case provides resistance to moisture and corrosive environments. Accuracy is rated at 0.5 percent of scale, meeting the demands of precision process and HVAC applications. The 0.5-inch rear connection threads directly into a panel or pipe fitting, and the rear flange mount allows secure flush-panel or wall-bracket installation. Licensed technicians and mechanical contractors are the typical installers of this gauge.
This gauge is suited for residential and commercial HVAC systems, plumbing pressure monitoring, compressed air lines, hydraulic circuits, and general mechanical service applications. The rear flange mount configuration is common in panel-mounted instrument assemblies where the dial face needs to sit flush against a surface. The 4.5-inch dial size makes it a preferred choice in applications where a technician must read pressure from a distance or in low-light mechanical rooms.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems requiring a 4.5-inch dial, 0 to 200 psi range, 0.5-inch rear-thread connection, and rear flange mount configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanical contractor. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Use an appropriate thread sealant on the NPT connection and tighten to hand-tight plus the thread engagement appropriate for the fitting material — do not overtighten thermoplastic-bodied gauges. Verify that the system operating pressure does not exceed the gauge maximum rating during normal or fault conditions.
