The WIKA 9833140 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in demanding fluid and gas systems. It features a 2-1/2 inch analog dial with a 0 to 5000 psi single scale and a stated accuracy of 1.5% of scale. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts make it suitable for corrosive media and harsh service environments. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. This gauge mounts via a 1/4 inch NPT center back connection and is installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance professionals.
This gauge is appropriate for residential, commercial, and light industrial applications where reliable analog pressure indication is required. It is compatible with both gaseous and liquid media, making it versatile across hydraulic lines, compressed air systems, water distribution, and process piping. The liquid-filled case dampens vibration and pulsation, which extends dial readability and service life in high-cycle or pump-adjacent installations. The center back mount configuration suits panel, manifold, and direct-pipe mounting arrangements common in mechanical rooms and equipment skids.
Designed for use with gaseous and liquid media in industrial, commercial, and mechanical system applications requiring a 1/4 inch NPT center back mount pressure gauge rated to 5000 psi.
Installation should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with the pressure rating of the system being tested or monitored. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before installing or removing the gauge. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the media type to the NPT threads, taking care not to obstruct the port opening. Do not exceed the maximum rated pressure of 5000 psi, and follow applicable ASME, OSHA, or local pressure system codes for the installation environment.
