The WIKA 9832160 is a glycerine-filled analog pressure gauge built for accurate pressure monitoring in demanding service environments. The 2.5-inch dial provides clear readability, and the center back mount configuration simplifies panel or pipe installation. Both the case and all wetted parts are constructed from stainless steel, making this gauge well suited for corrosive media and wet or humid installations. The glycerine fill dampens pointer vibration and protects the internal bourdon tube mechanism from pressure spikes. Accuracy is rated at plus or minus 2.5 percent of scale across the full 0 to 300 psi range. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial service professionals install this type of gauge on pressurized systems requiring continuous local indication.
This gauge is appropriate for residential and light commercial applications where a compact, corrosion-resistant pressure indicator is required. Typical installations include water supply lines, boiler systems, compressed air lines, hydraulic circuits, and chemical process piping where stainless steel wetted parts are specified. The center back mount allows the gauge face to sit flush against a panel or bracket while connecting directly to a rear-facing port, keeping the installation profile clean and compact. The glycerine fill makes it a practical choice for vibrating pump or compressor applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems requiring a 1/4 inch center back mount connection and stainless steel wetted parts rated to 300 psi.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable local codes and system manufacturer guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing an existing gauge or threading in a new one. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the 1/4 inch male NPT connection and tighten to a snug fit using a wrench on the hex fitting only — do not apply torque through the gauge case. Verify the gauge range is appropriate for the system operating pressure before returning the system to service.
