The WIKA 9804471 is an analog pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in a wide range of industrial and mechanical applications. It features a 4-inch dial with a lower-mount 1/4-inch threaded connection, making it straightforward to install on pipes, manifolds, and test ports. The thermoplastic case provides lightweight corrosion resistance suitable for general-duty environments. With a dual pressure range of 0 to 15 and 0 to 380, and an accuracy rating of 1.5 percent of scale, the gauge delivers reliable readings for process monitoring, HVAC systems, plumbing pressure testing, and fluid system diagnostics. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors are the primary installers of this gauge type.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a panel-mount or pipe-mount analog pressure indicator is required. Common install scenarios include hydronic heating systems, compressed air lines, water supply systems, and HVAC refrigerant-side test rigs where a permanent or semi-permanent gauge is needed. The lower-mount configuration positions the threaded connection at the 6 o-clock position on the dial housing, allowing direct in-line installation on vertical pipe runs without the need for additional fittings or angle adapters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install analog pressure gauge for residential and light commercial piping systems with a standard 1/4-inch lower-mount threaded port.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or pipefitter. Shut down and depressurize the system completely before removing any existing gauge or fitting. Apply thread sealant tape to the male threads per applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines before tightening. Do not over-tighten the threaded connection, as thermoplastic-case gauges are not intended to be torqued with heavy pipe wrenches.
