The WIKA 9768718 is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed for monitoring gaseous and liquid system pressures in a range of trade and industrial applications. Featuring a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 60 psi range and a single scale, this gauge delivers 1.5% of scale accuracy for reliable readings at a glance. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts provide corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. The polycarbonate lens protects the dial face without adding significant bulk. At 0.33 pounds, this is a compact, durable instrument suited for installation by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters.
This gauge is intended for use in residential and light commercial applications where monitoring of gaseous or liquid pressure is required. The lower-mount, quarter-inch NPT connection makes it straightforward to install on standard pipe fittings, pressure ports, manifolds, and test points. It is dry-fill and non-liquid-filled, making it appropriate for general-purpose service where dampening is not required. Typical install scenarios include boiler systems, water supply lines, compressed air headers, and HVAC refrigerant-adjacent measurement points where an NPT port is available.
Designed for use with gaseous and liquid media systems that provide a lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT port, consistent with standard industrial and trade pressure measurement points.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME B40.100 gauge installation guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before threading in or removing any gauge. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPT threads and tighten to fitting, taking care not to overtighten the case body. Inspect for leaks after returning the system to operating pressure.
