The WIKA 9768548 is an industrial-grade analog pressure gauge designed for monitoring gas and liquid pressure in process and mechanical systems. It features a 4-inch dial for clear, at-a-glance readings across a 0 to 100 psi range, with 1% of scale accuracy. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts make it suitable for corrosive or demanding service environments. A 1/2-inch NPT lower mount connection allows for direct in-line installation on pipe nipples, manifolds, or equipment ports. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals are the typical installers of this gauge.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems, HVAC hydronic circuits, compressed air lines, hydraulic equipment, and general industrial fluid handling applications. The dry (non-liquid-filled) design simplifies installation in locations where fluid spillage is a concern. The polycarbonate lens provides impact resistance and visibility in typical indoor and outdoor mechanical environments. Compatible with both gaseous and liquid media, this gauge covers a wide range of common service applications.
Suitable for use with gaseous and liquid media. Designed as an OEM-style or replacement industrial pressure gauge for systems requiring a 1/2-inch NPT lower mount connection and a 0 to 100 psi measurement range.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified mechanical technician in accordance with applicable codes such as the IPC or ASME B40.100. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per local code requirements, and avoid over-tightening to prevent case or socket damage. Verify the process media and pressure range are within the gauge specifications before placing the system back in service.
