The WIKA 9747740 is an analog pressure gauge with a 4-inch dial and lower-mount 1/4-inch thread connection. It delivers dual-scale readings covering 0 to 30 psi and 0 to 760 mmHg, making it suitable for low-pressure monitoring across a wide range of trade applications. The stainless steel case provides corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. Accuracy is rated at 1.5 percent of scale, which meets standard industrial and mechanical service requirements. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors install this gauge for pressure monitoring on refrigeration systems, water lines, gas lines, and general mechanical service panels.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a durable, easy-to-read dial instrument is required. The lower-mount configuration positions the inlet at the 6 o'clock position on the gauge body, which is the standard orientation for panel and pipe-mounted applications. The 4-inch dial provides clear readability at typical working distances on a mechanical room or equipment panel. The dual pressure scale is useful in applications that require both psi and mmHg reference, including vacuum and low-pressure refrigeration or fluid system diagnostics.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation analog pressure gauge for residential and light commercial mechanical systems requiring a 4-inch lower-mount dial instrument with 1/4-inch thread connection.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or mechanical contractor. Shut off and depressurize the system before removing an existing gauge or connecting this gauge to any live line. Use appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape on the 1/4-inch male connection per the system manufacturer and applicable plumbing or mechanical code requirements. Do not overtighten the gauge connection, as stainless bourdon tube gauges can be damaged by excessive torque at the socket joint.
