The WIKA 9744932 is an analog pressure gauge designed for industrial and mechanical service applications where reliable pressure indication and corrosion resistance are required. Featuring a 2.5-inch dial diameter and a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection, this gauge reads from 0 to 160 PSI. The stainless steel case and fully stainless steel wetted parts make it suitable for use with mildly corrosive media, moisture-prone environments, and wash-down areas. Accuracy is rated at plus or minus 2.5 percent of full scale, consistent with ASME Grade B standards. The no-fill design keeps the unit lightweight and straightforward to install. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters routinely use this gauge for pressure monitoring on water, air, oil, and gas lines.
This gauge fits residential and light commercial piping systems where a compact, bottom-connected pressure instrument is needed. Common applications include pressure testing on water supply lines, monitoring system pressure on HVAC hydronic loops, air compressor lines, and pneumatic control systems. The lower-mount NPT connection threads directly into standard pipe fittings, manifolds, and valve bodies without adapters in most installations. The analog dial provides an at-a-glance pressure read without any power source or electronics.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge compatible with standard 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount gauge ports on plumbing, HVAC hydronic, pneumatic, and light industrial piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME B40.100 guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing an existing gauge or threading in a new one. Apply thread sealant tape or pipe thread compound to the NPT threads, taking care to keep sealant clear of the first thread to prevent contamination of the sensing element. Do not use the gauge body or dial as a wrench point; apply torque only to the hex fitting at the base.
