The WIKA 9314709 is a liquid-filled analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in demanding trade and industrial applications. Built with a brass case and a 4-inch dial, it reads from 0 to 300 psi with an accuracy of 1% of scale. The liquid-filled chamber dampens vibration and pulsation, protecting the internal movement and extending service life in systems with fluctuating pressures. The lower-mount, 1/4-inch threaded connection allows direct in-line installation on a wide range of fluid and gas systems. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors commonly specify this gauge for system commissioning, service verification, and permanent pressure monitoring.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial applications including water supply systems, compressed air lines, hydraulic circuits, and HVAC refrigerant or chilled-water circuits where a reliable, easy-to-read pressure indication is required. The 4-inch dial face provides clear readability from a distance, making it practical for panel-mounted or direct-pipe installations. The lower-mount configuration positions the connection at the 6 o'clock position, which is standard for vertical pipe and panel mounting scenarios common in mechanical rooms and equipment closets.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for residential and commercial fluid and gas systems using a standard 1/4-inch lower-mount threaded port.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified mechanical technician in accordance with applicable local codes and the IPC or IFGC as relevant. Shut down and fully depressurize the system before installing or replacing the gauge. Use an appropriate thread sealant on the male threads and do not overtighten, as brass fittings are susceptible to thread damage. Verify the system operating pressure falls within the 0 to 300 psi range before returning the system to service.
