The WIKA 9310690 is a glycerine-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial applications. It features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 60 psi range and delivers 1.5% of scale accuracy across that range. The glycerine fill dampens needle vibration and reduces wear on internal components in installations with pulsating flow or pump-driven systems. The brass case and copper alloy wetted parts suit a wide range of non-corrosive media. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters install this gauge as part of pressure monitoring assemblies on boilers, chillers, pumps, and distribution lines.
This gauge fits lower-mount installations where the process connection enters from the bottom of the gauge body. The 0.25-inch NPT thread is the standard connection size for most residential and light commercial pressure monitoring points. The acrylic lens provides clear dial visibility in typical mechanical room and equipment room environments. The single-scale analog display is straightforward to read under field conditions without additional tools or instrumentation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install gauge for residential and light commercial pressure monitoring assemblies using lower-mount 0.25-inch NPT connections on non-corrosive media systems.
A licensed plumber or HVAC technician should install this gauge following applicable IPC and local mechanical code requirements. Shut down and depressurize the system completely before removing an existing gauge or making the new connection. Use thread sealant tape or paste rated for the media type on the NPT threads, and avoid over-tightening, which can crack the gauge body or distort the brass fitting. Verify that the media is compatible with copper alloy wetted parts before placing the gauge in service.
