The WIKA 50787608 is an analog pressure gauge built for reliable pressure measurement in industrial and mechanical systems. It features a 2.5-inch diameter dial with a 0 to 200 PSI range and an accuracy rating of plus or minus 2.5 percent of scale. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts make it well suited for applications where moisture, corrosion, or washdown exposure is a concern. The lower back mount configuration allows for panel or wall installation with a rear-facing 1/4-inch threaded connection. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters typically install this gauge on pressure systems requiring a compact, durable indicator.
This gauge is appropriate for residential and light commercial applications including plumbing systems, HVAC hydronic loops, compressed air lines, and fluid pressure monitoring. The no-fill design keeps installation straightforward and eliminates the maintenance concerns associated with liquid-filled gauges. The 1/4-inch lower back thread connection fits standard NPT fittings commonly found on manifolds, test ports, and equipment panels. Its compact 2.5-inch dial is readable in tight spaces while still providing clear scale markings across the full 0 to 200 PSI range.
Designed as a direct-fit analog pressure gauge for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic, and compressed air systems using 1/4-inch NPT lower back mount connections. WIKA model number 232.30.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing any existing gauge or fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the 1/4-inch NPT threads before installation and tighten to fitting manufacturer specifications using appropriate wrenches — do not use the dial housing as a turning point. Verify the pressure range of the gauge matches the maximum operating pressure of the system before returning to service.
