The WIKA 4253167 is a commercial-grade analog pressure gauge designed for general-purpose pressure monitoring across HVAC, plumbing, and industrial service applications. It features a 2.5-inch diameter dial with a 0 to 300 psi single-scale range, making it suitable for a wide range of system pressure checks. The case is constructed from ABS plastic and the wetted parts are brass, offering corrosion resistance in standard fluid and gas service. The 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection allows direct installation into threaded ports on pipes, manifolds, and equipment panels. Accuracy is rated at 3-2-3 percent of scale. Licensed trade professionals install this gauge as part of system commissioning, maintenance, and diagnostic work.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a reliable, no-fill analog pressure indicator is needed. Typical applications include monitoring supply and return pressures on hydronic heating systems, checking line pressure on compressed air systems, and verifying operating pressure on water supply and distribution lines. The lower-mount NPT connection is a common configuration for panel-mount and in-line service points. No liquid fill means the gauge is intended for dry environments or where vibration and pulsation levels are moderate.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service gauge for commercial pressure gauge applications requiring a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection with a 2.5-inch dial and a 0 to 300 psi range.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified service professional. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads in accordance with applicable plumbing and mechanical codes before tightening. Do not overtighten the connection, as ABS gauge bodies and brass tube fittings can be damaged by excessive torque.
