The WIKA 4253116 is a commercial-grade analog pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 30 psi range and a 3-2-3 percent of scale accuracy rating, making it suitable for low-pressure system monitoring where reliable readings matter. The gauge uses a lower-mount, 1/4-inch NPT connection, allowing direct installation into pipe tees, manifolds, or equipment ports. The case is constructed from ABS plastic, and all wetted internal parts are brass. No liquid fill is used. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters are the typical installers for this type of instrument.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial settings where low-pressure monitoring is required. Common applications include domestic water supply lines, boiler system monitoring, compressed air headers at low pressure, and HVAC hydronic loops. The 2.5-inch dial size provides clear readability in tight mechanical rooms or on equipment panels. The lower-mount NPT connection simplifies installation on standard pipe fittings without the need for adapters in most plumbing configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install commercial pressure gauge for low-pressure plumbing, HVAC hydronic, and compressed air systems using standard 1/4-inch NPT threaded connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and IFGC or IPC requirements where relevant. Depressurize and drain the system before removing any existing gauge or installing this unit. Apply an appropriate thread sealant to the NPT threads — do not overtighten, as ABS cases can crack under excessive torque. Confirm the system operating pressure does not exceed 30 psi to avoid gauge damage or inaccurate readings.
