The WIKA 32060A003G4 is a bimetal dial thermometer built for direct-immersion temperature measurement in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial process piping applications. It reads from 25 to 125 degrees F with an accuracy of plus or minus 1.0 percent of full scale. The 6-inch stem gives adequate immersion depth for most pipe sizes and process vessels. The adjustable-angle mount lets the installer orient the dial face for clear visibility regardless of pipe orientation. The stainless steel housing and 18-8 stainless stem resist corrosion in wet mechanical rooms and outdoor installs. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters are the primary installers.
This thermometer is well suited for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, hydronic heating loops, domestic hot and cold water lines, and chilled-water piping. The 25 to 125 degrees F range covers typical supply and return water temperatures in forced-hot-water boiler systems and chilled-water air handlers. The adjustable angle mount is especially useful on horizontal runs where a fixed-angle head would face the floor or ceiling. No external power is required, making it a passive, maintenance-free monitoring point once installed.
Designed as an OEM-style direct-immersion thermometer for use in residential and commercial HVAC, hydronic, and plumbing piping systems where a 6-inch stem and adjustable-angle dial mount are required.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off system pressure and drain or isolate the pipe section before drilling or tapping the immersion well. A thermowell is strongly recommended for systems where the thermometer may need to be removed without draining the line. Follow applicable IPC and IFGC provisions for pipe penetrations, and verify the stem length provides sufficient immersion for accurate readings relative to the pipe diameter.
