The WIKA 20060D003G2 is a bimetal dial thermometer designed for temperature measurement in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial process applications. It operates across a range of 25 to 125 degrees F and uses a 6-inch stainless steel stem to reach into pipes, ducts, or vessels where surface readings are insufficient. The back-connected mount positions the dial face forward for easy in-line reading. The stainless steel housing and 18-8 grade stem material resist corrosion in wet or humid service environments. Accuracy is rated at 1.0 percent of full scale. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters use this instrument for supply and return temperature verification, system commissioning, and ongoing diagnostics.
The 20060D003G2 suits residential and light commercial HVAC systems, hydronic heating and cooling loops, domestic hot and cold water piping, and general process piping where a fixed, locally readable temperature indication is required. The back-connected stem entry allows direct installation into a thermowell or pipe fitting without the dial face obstructing adjacent components. The 25 to 125 degrees F range covers typical chilled water, condenser water, and domestic hot water service conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct installation bimetal thermometer for residential and commercial HVAC, hydronic, and plumbing piping systems that accept a back-connected stem thermometer in a standard thermowell or pipe fitting.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians or plumbers. Isolate and depressurize the pipe or system section before installing or removing the thermometer stem. Use a thermowell whenever possible to allow future removal under pressure and to protect the stem from flow-induced vibration. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the fitting connection per local plumbing codes.
