The WIHA 71333 is a hex screwdriver insert bit designed for use with 1/4 inch drive power tools, impact drivers, and bit holders. Built from steel and rated for impact use, this bit handles the high-torque demands of fastening and removal tasks common in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical work. The 71333 measures 1 inch in overall length and is configured for standard hex fastener drive without a ball end. It is sized for No. 6 cap screws. Each package contains 10 individual bits, making it a practical stock-up option for service vans and shop use.
This insert bit is suited for residential and commercial trade applications where a compact, 1 inch bit is needed for tight-access fastening. The 1/4 inch drive shank fits standard quick-change bit holders and most cordless impact drivers. Impact-rated construction means the bit is engineered to absorb rotational shock without fracturing, which is critical when using high-torque impact drivers during installation or service calls. Typical applications include panel work, fixture mounting, and equipment assembly across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing trades.
Designed for use with 1/4 inch drive quick-change bit holders and cordless or pneumatic impact drivers accepting standard insert bits.
Install and remove using a 1/4 inch quick-change bit holder or magnetic bit extension. Ensure the driver or tool is powered off or the trigger is locked before changing bits. Impact-rated bits are intended for use in impact drivers; using them in standard drill-drivers is acceptable but not required. Inspect bits for wear or deformation and replace when tip edges show rounding to avoid fastener damage.
