The WIHA 36466 is a T-handle Torx Plus key designed for driving IP15 Torx Plus fasteners in demanding trade and service applications. The T-handle configuration gives the technician improved torque control and grip compared to standard L-keys, making it well suited for confined spaces where a full-turn wrench cannot be used. The chrome-plated finish resists corrosion and wear under regular shop and field use. At 4 inches overall length with a 3.9-inch arbor, the tool balances reach with maneuverability. The 36466 is also tether capable, supporting drop-prevention compliance on elevated work sites. Weight is 0.08 pounds.
This key is used wherever IP15 Torx Plus fasteners appear in HVAC equipment, electrical enclosures, panel assemblies, and mechanical systems. It is a standard hand tool for HVAC technicians, electricians, and general maintenance trades who routinely encounter security or Torx Plus drive fasteners on equipment covers, motor housings, and control board enclosures. The T-handle design is especially practical when repeated fastener cycling is required during service calls.
Designed for use with IP15 Torx Plus fasteners found across a wide range of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment assemblies requiring that drive size.
De-energize all electrical equipment before removing fasteners from live panels or enclosures. Confirm the drive size matches the fastener recess before applying torque to avoid stripping. When working at height, attach the tool to a tether anchor point using a compatible tether lanyard in accordance with site drop-prevention policies. This is a hand tool requiring no power source or calibration.
