The WIHA 33430 is a 3/16 inch T-handle hex key with a ball end tip and cushion grip handle, designed for driving standard hex fasteners in tight or repetitive-use applications. The T-handle configuration provides high torque leverage without a traditional L-key arm, making it well suited for tasks that require controlled, sustained turning force. The ball end allows engagement at up to a 25-degree angle off-axis, which is useful when working in confined equipment spaces. The cushion grip reduces hand fatigue during extended use. The tool measures 150 millimeters overall length and weighs 0.02 pounds. Body construction is steel.
This hex key is used across HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and general mechanical service work wherever 3/16 inch hex fasteners appear. Typical applications include tightening set screws on motor shafts, fan hubs, and equipment access panels. The T-handle format is common in panel and cabinet work where a long L-key would be obstructed. Suitable for both residential and light commercial service environments.
Designed as a standard inch-series hex key for use with 3/16 inch hex fasteners in mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and general trade service applications.
No power disconnect is required for hand tool use, but always de-energize and lock out equipment before working on fasteners inside electrical enclosures or HVAC units. Verify fastener size before applying torque to avoid rounding. The ball end is intended for light-to-moderate torque at an angle — use the straight end seating for full torque applications when access allows.
