The WIHA 32088 is an 8-piece insulated screwdriver set rated and certified for live electrical work up to 1,000 volts. The set includes three Phillips drivers covering sizes 00 through 1 and five slotted drivers with blade widths of 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, and 3.5 millimeters. Each driver features a dual-durometer cushion grip handle that is direct-molded to the shank for a secure, ergonomic hold during extended use. Tips are precision-machined for exact fit, reducing cam-out and fastener damage on sensitive electrical components. Licensed electricians and service technicians working on energized panels, switchgear, or low-voltage control systems rely on this set for daily service work.
This set is appropriate for residential and commercial electrical service, panel work, instrumentation, and control wiring where NFPA-70E and OSHA arc flash compliance requires insulated tools. The slim, round shanks and tapered handle design allow access to tight terminal spaces common in load centers, junction boxes, and control enclosures. The full range of Phillips and slotted sizes covers the fastener variety found in most electrical and low-voltage applications without requiring a separate set.
Designed for general electrical service work requiring NFPA-70E-compliant insulated hand tools, suitable for use on energized systems up to 1,000 volts AC.
Insulated screwdrivers must be inspected before each use for cracks, cuts, or damage to the insulation — do not use a driver with compromised insulation on energized circuits. Work on live electrical systems should be performed only by qualified electricians following applicable NFPA-70E safe work practices and local codes. Keep insulated tool surfaces clean and free of conductive contaminants such as metal filings or cutting fluids. Store separately from non-insulated tools to prevent surface damage to the insulation.
