The WHITE-RODGERS 07 67A365S1 is a silicon carbide hot surface ignitor designed for gas burner ignition in forced-air heating systems. Operating at 120 volts and rated at 5 amps, it provides reliable, spark-free ignition using a resistive silicon carbide element that glows to ignition temperature on each call for heat. The ignitor includes a 9-inch lead length and connects via 1/4-inch female spade terminals with uninsulated connections. Ceramic wire nuts are included. Weighing approximately 0.1 pounds, this is a direct-replacement component installed by licensed HVAC technicians during routine maintenance or no-heat service calls.
This ignitor is intended for use with gas burner assemblies in residential and light-commercial heating applications. Hot surface ignition systems replaced standing pilot assemblies as the industry standard, and silicon carbide elements are a common OEM ignitor type found across a wide range of gas furnaces. The 9-inch lead length provides adequate service slack for most standard furnace ignitor mounting locations. Ceramic wire nuts included in the package support proper high-temperature termination at the ignitor leads.
Designed for use with gas burner assemblies using hot surface ignition control. Confirm element geometry, lead length, and terminal type against the existing ignitor before installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician. Shut off power to the furnace at the disconnect switch and turn off the gas supply before removing the existing ignitor. Silicon carbide elements are brittle — handle only by the ceramic base and avoid contact with the element body, as skin oils can cause premature failure. Verify terminal connections are secure and that lead routing does not contact hot surfaces or sharp edges after reinstallation.
