The WESTLAKE PIPE FITTINGS cpvc-c1 is a 1-inch CPVC coupling designed for joining two sections of CPVC pipe in pressurized water systems. CPVC couplings of this type create a solvent-welded, watertight joint suited for both hot and cold water distribution lines. The cpvc-c1 is a standard slip-joint fitting that accepts 1-inch CPVC pipe on both ends. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in residential and light commercial plumbing systems where CPVC piping is the specified material.
This coupling is used in 1-inch CPVC piping runs for domestic hot and cold water supply lines. Common install scenarios include new construction rough-in, remodel work, and repair of existing CPVC systems. The fitting is appropriate for indoor potable water distribution and similar pressurized plumbing applications where CPVC is code-approved and specified by the design.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 1-inch CPVC piping systems used in residential and light commercial plumbing applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before cutting into any existing line. Use the appropriate CPVC primer and solvent cement rated for CPVC material — do not substitute PVC cement. Allow full cure time before restoring pressure to the system.
