The WESTINGHOUSE 632427R is a single-port, single-pole single-throw (SPST) pressure switch rated at 0.55 inches water column (WC), designed for use in gas furnace control circuits. The switch monitors negative pressure generated by the inducer motor and closes or opens the low-voltage control circuit based on that differential. It is a direct-fit replacement component installed by licensed HVAC technicians during routine maintenance, troubleshooting, or equipment repair on upflow and horizontal furnace configurations.
This pressure switch is specified for use on the G7XA Upflow/Horizontal Furnace. It is suited to residential gas furnace applications where inducer-proving switches are required as a safety interlock before the ignition sequence can proceed. The 0.55 inches WC setpoint is a precise factory-set value and must match the original equipment specification for proper furnace operation.
Designed for use on the G7XA Upflow/Horizontal Furnace as an OEM-style replacement pressure switch.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician. Disconnect power to the furnace at the disconnect switch or breaker before removing or installing the pressure switch. Confirm the replacement setpoint matches the original switch rating before installation, as an incorrect WC rating will cause ignition lockout or unsafe furnace operation. Refer to the furnace wiring diagram and service manual for port location and low-voltage circuit connections.
