Wesco TM873W 3-way Decorator Rocker Switch 15A White

Product Description

The WESCO TM873W is a 15-amp, 3-way decorator rocker switch finished in white. It is designed for residential and light commercial electrical wiring where a single light fixture or load must be controlled from two separate locations. The rocker-style paddle face fits standard decorator wallplates and provides a clean, modern look in new construction and retrofit applications. Licensed electricians install this switch as part of branch-circuit wiring in compliance with NEC requirements for multi-location switching.

This switch is suited for residential bedrooms, hallways, stairwells, and any room where two-point switching is required. Its white finish coordinates with standard decorator-style devices and wallplates commonly used in residential panel upgrades and remodels. The 15-amp rating covers standard 14-gauge branch circuits used for lighting loads.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit at the breaker panel and verify the absence of voltage with a meter before handling any wiring. In a 3-way switching setup, a traveler wire must be connected to both switches; consult the wiring diagram included with the device for terminal identification. Do not exceed the rated amperage of the switch when sizing the connected load.
