The WERA 05006156001 is a No. 3 Phillips insulated screwdriver built for electricians and trade professionals working on live or potentially live electrical equipment. The 6-inch blade is mounted on an ergonomic plastic handle with a hard smooth zone for high-torque driving and a soft grip zone for low-fatigue extended use. The Lasertip point is hardened and treated to bite into Phillips fastener heads and resist cam-out. At 1.8 pounds, the tool is substantial without being unwieldy. It carries VDE certification and meets IEC 60900 standards, making it rated for insulated work up to 1,000 volts.

This screwdriver is used in residential and commercial electrical work wherever a No. 3 Phillips fastener is encountered - panel wiring, equipment installation, motor termination covers, and similar tasks requiring an insulated hand tool. The hexagonal anti-roll handle geometry keeps the tool from rolling off work surfaces. Installation Notes

Insulated screwdrivers must be inspected before each use - do not use if the insulation is cracked, cut, or deteriorated. Even with a VDE-rated insulated tool, follow lockout/tagout procedures and applicable NFPA 70E arc flash safety requirements before working on energized equipment. This tool is not tether capable and should not be used in applications where dropped-tool controls require tethering.
