The WELDAS 44-2130S is a standard-length leather welding jacket built for welders and fabricators who need reliable heat and abrasion protection during daily weld operations. Constructed from select split cowhide leather, the jacket resists heat and abrasion at the workface. All seams are sewn with Kevlar thread for enhanced durability, and riveted stress points extend the service life of the garment. This small size features 30 inch sleeves. The golden brown cowhide construction meets the demands of production welding, structural work, and heavy fabrication environments.
Suited for light industrial and heavy fabrication settings where arc welding, MIG, or stick welding generates spatter and radiant heat, this jacket is a standard PPE selection for professional welders. The 30 inch sleeve length accommodates a range of body types in the small sizing class. Full-sized leather interior utility pockets provide convenient storage for electrodes, markers, or small tools without removing the jacket during a job.
Designed as a standard PPE garment for professional welders and fabricators requiring leather upper-body protection during arc, MIG, or stick welding operations.
Inspect the jacket before each use for damaged seams, worn leather, or compromised snap closures that could reduce protection. Follow applicable ANSI Z49.1 welding safety guidelines for personal protective equipment selection and use. Leather welding garments should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture to preserve material integrity. Do not modify the garment by cutting, punching, or re-stitching seams.
