The 6-inch diameter wheel uses stainless steel stringer bead twist wire to cut through mill scale, weld slag, rust, and oxidation without introducing carbon contamination to the workpiece. The wire diameter falls in the 0.0200 to 0.0299 inch range, providing a balance of aggression and wire life. Rated to 12,500 RPM, this brush mounts via a 5/8-11 threaded arbor and is installed by fabricators, pipefitters, and maintenance welders on standard angle grinders. No shank is included.
