The WEILER 94659 is a knotted stainless steel wheel brush designed for aggressive surface conditioning, weld cleaning, and deburring on metal workpieces. The brush mounts via a 5/8-11 threaded arbor and spins at up to 20000 RPM, making it suitable for use with angle grinders and right-angle die grinders in fabrication and maintenance environments. Stringer bead twist wire knots deliver concentrated contact force across the 3/16-inch face width, cutting through mill scale, weld spatter, rust, and heavy surface contamination. Licensed metalworkers, pipefitters, and fabricators are the primary installers and operators of this tool.
This wheel brush is used in industrial and commercial fabrication shops, pipeline work, structural steel erection, and general metalworking maintenance. Its 4-inch diameter and threaded mount make it a direct fit for standard angle grinders with 5/8-11 spindles. Common applications include weld seam preparation, post-weld cleanup, rust removal, and surface profiling prior to coating or inspection. The stainless steel fill material makes it appropriate for work on stainless base metals where carbon steel wire contamination must be avoided.
Designed for use with angle grinders and right-angle grinders fitted with a 5/8-11 threaded spindle. Verify that the tool's no-load RPM rating does not exceed 20000 RPM before mounting.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified metalworkers or tradespeople familiar with abrasive tool safety. Always confirm the grinder's rated spindle speed does not exceed the 20000 RPM maximum marked on the brush before use. Wear appropriate PPE including a full face shield, gloves, and hearing protection during operation. Inspect the brush for damaged or broken wire before each use and replace if any wire fatigue or deformation is present.
