The WEILER 93665 is a 3-inch diameter wheel brush designed for surface preparation, deburring, cleaning, and light blending on metal and other hard surfaces. It features crimped stainless steel wire fill, which provides consistent contact pressure and resists corrosion, making it suitable for work on stainless steel workpieces where carbon contamination must be avoided. The brush is rated to a maximum of 20,000 RPM and mounts via a 1/2-inch arbor hole, fitting standard bench grinders, die grinders, and angle grinders equipped with an arbor mandrel. Shank is not included. Installation and operation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with abrasive tool safety.
This wheel brush is used in metal fabrication, welding prep and cleanup, pipe fitting, and general industrial maintenance applications. The stainless steel crimped wire construction makes it a practical choice when working on stainless steel assemblies or in environments where ferrous contamination from carbon steel wire would be problematic. With a 5/8-inch face width and a 1-inch trim length, it provides adequate surface contact for weld spatter removal, rust removal, and light scale cleaning on tubing, fittings, sheet metal, and structural components.
Designed for use with rotary power tools equipped with a 1/2-inch arbor hole mandrel, including bench grinders and angle grinders capable of supporting a 3-inch wheel brush at up to 20,000 RPM. No shank is included; a separate arbor mandrel is required for operation.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with ANSI abrasive wheel safety standards. Always power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before mounting or removing the brush. Verify that the tool RPM rating meets or does not exceed the 20,000 RPM maximum marked on the brush before use. Always wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating wire brush wheels.
