The WEILER 93663 is a 3-inch diameter wheel brush designed for aggressive surface preparation, deburring, cleaning, and finishing on metal and other hard materials. Mounted via an arbor hole, this brush features crimped carbon steel wire that flexes to conform to irregular surfaces while maintaining consistent contact pressure. Rated to 20,000 RPM, it is suitable for use with angle grinders and bench grinders in fabrication, welding prep, and maintenance applications. Licensed tradespeople and shop technicians working in mechanical, electrical, or general fabrication environments rely on this style of wheel brush for fast, repeatable results.
This wheel brush is used in industrial and trade settings where surface conditioning, rust removal, scale removal, or weld spatter cleanup is required. Its 3-inch outside diameter and 5/8-inch face width make it well suited for moderate-width work areas on pipe, bar stock, plate, and structural components. The 1-inch trim length allows adequate wire flex for contoured or uneven surfaces. No shank is included, so a compatible arbor-hole mounting setup is required.
Designed for use with angle grinders, bench grinders, or die grinders equipped with a compatible arbor hole mounting system accepting a 1/2-inch arbor hole brush.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with rotary abrasive tools. Always power down and disconnect the grinder from its power source before mounting or removing the brush. Confirm the tool spindle speed does not exceed the brush maximum rating of 20,000 RPM before operation. Follow applicable ANSI B165 and OSHA standards for abrasive wheel safety, including use of proper guards and eye protection.
