The WEILER 93618 is a 6-inch crimped wheel brush designed for surface preparation, deburring, blending, and cleaning applications in industrial and trade environments. Fitted with stainless steel wire fill, it delivers corrosion resistance and consistent performance on stainless steel workpieces, aluminum, and other metals where carbon steel contamination is a concern. The arbor-hole mount accepts standard 5/8-inch arbors, and the brush is rated to a maximum of 6,000 RPM. With a 3/4-inch face width and a 1-7/16-inch trim length, it provides a well-defined contact zone suitable for bench grinders and angle grinders. Installation requires no additional shank hardware.
This wheel brush is used across fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and field service work where metal finishing, weld prep, or surface cleaning is required. The crimped wire configuration provides a softer, more flexible action compared to knotted designs, making it well suited for light to medium stock removal, scale removal, and surface blending on curved or irregular surfaces. Typical users include pipefitters, millwrights, fabricators, and general maintenance trades working with stainless steel or non-ferrous metals.
Designed for use on bench grinders and angle grinders accepting a 5/8-inch arbor hole mount. Verify that the grinder spindle speed does not exceed the 6,000 RPM maximum rating of this brush before installation.
This brush is installed by a machinist, fabricator, or maintenance technician using standard arbor hardware. Always power down and lock out the grinder before mounting or removing the brush. Confirm the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 6,000 RPM maximum rating marked on the brush. Wear appropriate eye protection and follow applicable ANSI B11 and OSHA grinding safety requirements during operation.
