The WEILER 93615 is a 6-inch crimped wheel brush designed for surface preparation, deburring, blending, and cleaning on metal workpieces. It mounts via a standard arbor hole and is filled with carbon steel wire, making it well suited for aggressive material removal on ferrous surfaces. The crimped wire configuration absorbs vibration and provides consistent contact across irregular surface profiles. Rated to 6,000 RPM, this brush is a standard tool for fabricators, pipefitters, welders, and maintenance technicians who need a dependable bench or angle-grinder wire brush for production or field use.
This wheel brush is used in metal fabrication shops, pipe and structural welding applications, and general industrial maintenance. It is appropriate for use on bench grinders or pedestal grinders with a compatible arbor. The 3/4-inch face width and 1-7/16-inch trim length provide good wire contact depth for working into weld seams, scale buildup, and surface corrosion on steel and iron components. No shank is included, so a properly fitted arbor is required for mounting.
Designed for use on bench grinders and pedestal grinders equipped with a 5/8-inch arbor spindle and operating at or below 6,000 RPM.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician or maintenance professional. Always power down and disconnect the grinder from its power source before mounting or removing any wheel brush. Verify the grinder spindle speed does not exceed the 6,000 RPM maximum rating of this brush before operation. Eye protection and appropriate PPE should be worn during use, per applicable ANSI and OSHA safety standards for abrasive and wire brush tools.
