The WEILER 90323 is a knotted wire end brush designed for aggressive surface preparation, weld cleaning, and rust or scale removal on metal workpieces. Built with steel knotted wire fill, it delivers the high cutting action needed for heavy deburring and blending tasks. The brush mounts via a 6 mm shank and is rated to 22,000 RPM, making it compatible with die grinders and rotary tools commonly used by HVAC, pipefitting, and metal fabrication tradespeople. At 1-1/8 inch diameter, it reaches into tight joints, pipe ends, and confined weld seams where larger brushes cannot fit.
This end brush suits residential and commercial applications wherever metal surfaces require mechanical cleaning before welding, brazing, coating, or inspection. Typical install scenarios include pipe fitting prep, structural steel cleaning, and conduit or tube end work. The hollow center construction and knotted wire configuration generate consistent contact pressure across irregular surfaces. Wire diameter falls in the 0.0101 to 0.0200 inch range, providing an aggressive cut suitable for ferrous metal substrates.
Designed as a direct-mount end brush for die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 6 mm shank. Suitable for use on ferrous metal surfaces in pipe fitting, welding, and general metal fabrication applications.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified tradespeople familiar with rotary abrasive tool safety. Always confirm the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 22,000 RPM rating of the brush before mounting. Wear appropriate eye protection and gloves per ANSI and tool manufacturer requirements. Inspect the brush for wire fatigue or deformation before each use and remove from service if damage is found.
