The WEILER 90320 is a knotted wire end brush designed for aggressive surface preparation, weld cleaning, deburring, and rust or scale removal on metal workpieces. The brush features a 3/4-inch diameter with knotted steel wire filaments ranging from 0.0101 to 0.0200 inches in diameter, delivering firm, consistent contact pressure across the work surface. A 6 mm shank diameter provides secure chuck engagement, and the brush is rated to a maximum of 22,000 RPM, making it suitable for use with die grinders and rotary tools commonly found in fabrication, maintenance, and industrial service environments. Weighing 0.15 pounds, it is a lightweight consumable replacement item stocked by the individual unit.
This end brush is used in applications where a standard cup or wheel brush cannot reach confined areas, weld joints, pipe ends, or tight inside-corner profiles. It is well suited for metal fabrication shops, pipe fitting, structural steel work, and general MRO maintenance tasks. The knotted wire construction is preferred over crimped wire when the job requires more aggressive cutting action and faster material removal on harder base metals.
Designed as a standard knotted wire end brush replacement for use with die grinders and rotary tools that accept a 6 mm shank, operating at up to 22,000 RPM.
Installation is performed by trade professionals or qualified maintenance technicians using a die grinder or compatible rotary tool with a matching chuck size. Always power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before inserting or removing the brush. Verify the tool's rated RPM meets or exceeds the brush maximum RPM rating before operation, and confirm the shank is fully seated and the collet is properly tightened. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow applicable ANSI B11 or OSHA abrasive tool safety guidelines during use.
