The WEILER 90319 is a knotted wire end brush designed for aggressive surface conditioning, weld cleaning, and deburring on metal workpieces. Built with a steel wire fill and a 6 mm round shank, it mounts directly into a die grinder or rotary tool for fast, controlled brush work. Wire diameter falls in the 0.0101 to 0.0200 inch range, providing an assertive cutting action suited to removing scale, rust, slag, and light burrs. The brush runs at up to 22,000 RPM, making it compatible with most standard die grinder speeds. Installers and fabricators in mechanical, HVAC, and industrial service trades reach for this style of brush when preparing metal surfaces in tight or hard-to-reach areas.
This end brush is used in both shop and field environments where surface preparation or weld cleanup is required on steel, iron, and similar ferrous materials. The 3/4 inch brush diameter keeps the working face compact for access into corners, ports, pipe ends, and recessed weld joints. It is a common consumable in HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical fabrication work where joint or fitting prep is part of the workflow.
Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools that accept a 6 mm round shank and operate at or below 22,000 RPM.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified tradespeople familiar with rotary abrasive tools and applicable shop safety standards. Always confirm the tool RPM rating meets or exceeds the brush maximum RPM before mounting. Inspect the brush for damage before each use and replace if wires are broken or the shank shows wear. Wear appropriate eye protection and a face shield whenever operating wire brushes at speed.
