The WEILER 90313 is a crimped carbon steel wheel brush designed for surface preparation, deburring, cleaning, and blending on metal and other hard materials. The 3-inch outside diameter and 1/2-inch face width make it suited for working in confined areas or along seams and edges. The 1/4-inch shank mounts directly into a die grinder or drill press collet without adapters. Rated to 20,000 RPM, this brush handles high-speed power tool applications. Carbon steel fill wire in the 0.010 to 0.019-inch diameter range provides firm, consistent contact across the work surface. The crimped wire construction allows the filaments to flex slightly under load, reducing gouging while maintaining aggressive material removal.
This wheel brush is used in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and field service work where weld spatter removal, rust cleaning, scale removal, or surface prep is required before coating or inspection. The 1/4-inch shank is a standard fit for most die grinders and rotary tools used by machinists, welders, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians. The compact 3-inch diameter allows access to areas that cup brushes or flap wheels cannot reach, including pipe joints, structural angles, and channel stock.
