The WEILER 90308 is a small-diameter wheel brush designed for deburring, cleaning, surface preparation, and light material removal on metal and other hard surfaces. It mounts via a 1/4-inch shank, making it compatible with standard rotary tools, die grinders, and drill presses. The brush features crimped carbon steel fill wire with a filament diameter up to 0.0099 inches, a 1-1/4-inch outside diameter, and a 1/2-inch face width. It is rated to 20,000 RPM, suitable for high-speed rotary applications where controlled wire action is needed. Metalworkers, fabricators, and maintenance technicians are the primary users of this type of brush.
This wheel brush is suited for bench-top or handheld rotary tool use in light industrial, maintenance, and fabrication settings. Typical applications include weld spatter removal, rust and scale cleaning, gasket surface prep, and edge deburring on small workpieces. The 3/8-inch trim length and crimped wire construction provide consistent, moderate aggressiveness across the work surface. The included 1/4-inch shank allows direct chuck mounting without additional adapters on most standard die grinders and rotary tools.
Designed for use with rotary tools, die grinders, and drill presses accepting a 1/4-inch shank. Suitable as a general-purpose wheel brush for light industrial and maintenance deburring and cleaning applications.
Install the 1/4-inch shank securely into the tool chuck before operation and confirm the tool RPM rating meets or exceeds the brush maximum of 20,000 RPM before use. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow applicable ANSI B11 or OSHA abrasive tool safety guidelines when operating wire brushes at speed. Inspect the brush for damaged or flared wire before each use and do not exceed the rated RPM. Secure the workpiece firmly before contact to prevent movement during surface preparation.
