It measures 2-3/4 inches in diameter and mounts via a 6 mm shank that is included with the brush. The crimped wire construction provides controlled flexibility, allowing the filament tips to conform to irregular surfaces without aggressive gouging. Rated to a maximum of 16,000 RPM, this brush is suited for use with die grinders, rotary tools, and similar power tools. Wire diameter runs up to 0.0100 inch. Installation is performed by tradespeople and machinists familiar with rotary abrasive and brush tooling. Before mounting, confirm the host tool's no-load RPM does not exceed the 16,000 RPM maximum rating of this brush. Insert the 6 mm shank fully into the collet and tighten securely before operation. Always wear appropriate eye protection and face shielding when operating wire brush tooling, as wire filaments can break loose during use.
