The WEILER 90300 is a crimped-wire end brush designed for surface preparation, deburring, and cleaning in tight or hard-to-reach areas. It features a 0.5-inch brush diameter with stainless steel crimped wire filaments rated up to 0.0100 inch in diameter. The 6 mm steel shank mounts directly into a rotary tool, die grinder, or drill, making it a practical tool for HVAC technicians, pipefitters, welders, and machinists working on metal surfaces. It is rated to a maximum of 25,000 RPM, supporting high-speed applications where a standard brush would fall short.
This end brush suits metal cleaning, weld prep, rust and scale removal, and light deburring on ferrous and non-ferrous work surfaces. The stainless steel fill material resists contamination on stainless or aluminum workpieces, which is important when cross-contamination from carbon steel bristles is a concern. Its compact 0.5-inch diameter fits confined spaces such as tube interiors, weld joints, and close-tolerance fittings commonly found in HVAC, plumbing, and light fabrication work.
Designed as a standard end brush for use with die grinders, rotary tools, and electric drills fitted with a 6 mm compatible chuck or collet.
Installation is performed by trade professionals including pipefitters, welders, and HVAC technicians using standard die grinders or rotary tools. Before mounting, confirm the tool chuck or collet accepts a 6 mm shank and verify the tool RPM does not exceed the 25,000 RPM rating of the brush. Always wear appropriate eye protection and a face shield when operating wire end brushes at speed. Inspect the brush for damaged or splayed filaments before each use and remove from service if wire integrity is compromised.
