The WEILER 90294 is a crimped steel wire end brush designed for use with rotary tools, die grinders, and similar power equipment. The 1-inch brush diameter and 6 mm steel shank make it well-suited for accessing weld seams, tube ends, ports, and other confined areas where a flat or cup brush cannot reach. Wire diameter falls in the 0.0101 to 0.0200 inch range, providing moderate cutting action appropriate for deburring, cleaning, and light surface prep on metal workpieces. Rated to 22,000 RPM, this brush is compatible with high-speed rotary tools common in fabrication, maintenance, and industrial service applications. The shank is included and is not piloted, bridled, or encapsulated.
This end brush is used in metal fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and industrial service environments where technicians need to clean, deburr, or prep internal bores, pipe ends, weld zones, or tight-access surfaces. It is a single-unit item suited for bench work or portable die grinder use. Applications include removing scale, rust, and weld spatter from steel components in HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical assemblies where accessible surface area is limited.
Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools that accept a 6 mm collet or chuck. Suitable as an OEM-style replacement or standard supply item for any application requiring a 1-inch crimped steel wire end brush at up to 22,000 RPM.
Installation is performed by inserting the 6 mm steel shank into the collet of a compatible die grinder or rotary tool and securing per the tool manufacturer's instructions. Always verify that the tool's maximum RPM rating does not exceed the brush's 22,000 RPM limit before operation. Wear appropriate eye protection and ensure workpiece is secure before engaging the brush. Inspect the brush for wire fatigue or deformation before each use and replace if wires are broken or excessively worn.
