The WEILER 90293 is a crimped steel wire end brush designed for surface preparation, deburring, cleaning, and finishing work on metal and other hard materials. Built with a 1-inch brush diameter and a 6 mm steel shank, it mounts directly into standard rotary tools, die grinders, and drill chucks. The crimped wire fill provides consistent, flexible contact across irregular surfaces. Rated to a maximum of 22,000 RPM, this brush is suited for high-speed power tool applications. Wire diameter falls in the 0.0101 to 0.0200 inch range, delivering moderate aggressiveness for general-purpose work. The shank is included with the brush and is not piloted, bridled, encapsulated, or flared.
This end brush is intended for use in metal fabrication, welding prep and cleanup, pipe fitting, maintenance, and general mechanical work. It is commonly used in industrial and commercial shops as well as on job sites where a portable die grinder or rotary tool is available. Typical applications include cleaning weld seams, removing rust and scale, and surface conditioning in tight or recessed areas where a larger wheel brush cannot reach.
Designed for use with die grinders, rotary tools, and drill chucks that accept a 6 mm round shank end brush. Confirm that the tool's rated RPM meets or exceeds the brush's 22,000 RPM maximum before mounting.
Installation is performed by machinists, fabricators, pipefitters, or maintenance mechanics using a compatible rotary tool or die grinder. Power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before mounting or removing the brush. Verify that the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 22,000 RPM rating marked on the brush. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow applicable ANSI and OSHA abrasive tool safety standards when operating wire brushes at speed.
