The WEILER 90291 is a crimped-wire end brush designed for surface preparation, deburring, cleaning, and light blending work on metal and other hard surfaces. The brush features a 3/4 inch face diameter with stainless steel crimped wire fill, making it well suited for applications where carbon steel contamination must be avoided. The 6 mm steel shank connects directly to rotary tools, die grinders, and drill chucks, and the brush is rated for a maximum of 22,000 RPM. At 0.13 pounds, it is a lightweight, single-piece tool ready for immediate use.
This end brush is used in fabrication shops, maintenance environments, and field service work where access to tight spaces, weld seams, ports, and recessed surfaces is required. Stainless steel wire is the standard choice for stainless steel base materials, aluminum, and any substrate where rust transfer from carbon steel wire is unacceptable. It is typically installed by machinists, pipefitters, welders, and general maintenance technicians.
Designed for use with rotary tools, die grinders, and portable drills equipped with a 6 mm collet or equivalent chuck. Confirm the tool speed rating meets or exceeds the 22,000 RPM maximum before mounting.
Disconnect or power down the rotary tool before mounting or removing the brush. Insert the shank fully into the collet and tighten securely before operation. Always verify the tool RPM rating does not exceed the brush maximum of 22,000 RPM. Wear appropriate eye protection and follow applicable ANSI safety standards for abrasive and power brush use.
