The WEILER 90290 is a steel crimped wire end brush designed for use with rotary tools, die grinders, and similar power equipment. The brush measures 3/4 inches in diameter and accepts a 6 mm steel shank, making it compatible with standard collet-style rotary tool chucks. It is rated to a maximum of 22,000 RPM. Crimped wire construction provides flexibility and consistent surface contact, making this brush well suited for deburring, cleaning weld seams, removing rust and scale, and light surface blending on metal workpieces. The wire filament diameter falls in the 0.0101 to 0.0200 inch range, offering a balance of aggressiveness and surface finish control.
This end brush is used in metal fabrication shops, maintenance and repair operations, and general industrial settings. It is a standard hand-tool-side item installed by machinists, welders, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians. Typical applications include spot cleaning of weld joints, preparing metal surfaces before coating, and accessing tight or recessed areas where larger brushes cannot reach.
