The WEILER 90286 is a crimped wire end brush designed for deburring, cleaning, and surface finishing in tight spaces and hard-to-reach areas. Built with steel crimped wire filaments up to 0.010 inches in diameter, it delivers consistent scrubbing action without excessive aggressiveness. The brush measures 1/2 inch in diameter and mounts via a 6 mm steel shank, making it compatible with standard die grinders, rotary tools, and similar rotary equipment. It is rated to a maximum of 25,000 RPM. Installation and use are handled by machinists, fabricators, maintenance technicians, and metalworking professionals.
This end brush is suited for use on metal surfaces where a standard wheel or cup brush cannot reach. Typical applications include weld spatter removal, rust and scale cleaning, port cleaning, and surface prep in bores, slots, and recessed cavities. The crimped wire construction provides a moderate cut rate and is appropriate for general-purpose ferrous metal work in both shop and field maintenance environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement end brush for use with die grinders, rotary tools, and similar rotary equipment that accept a 6 mm shank.
Installation is performed by machinists, fabricators, or maintenance technicians familiar with rotary abrasive tooling. Always power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before mounting or removing the brush. Confirm that the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 25,000 RPM maximum rating of the brush before operation. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection when using wire end brushes on power tools.
