The WEILER 68334 is a zirconia alumina mounted grinding point designed for precision grinding of critical components in fabrication and maintenance applications. Rated at 24 grit, this coarse-cut abrasive point delivers aggressive stock removal on tough metals. The working surface comes pre-dressed, which eliminates the typical break-in period and produces a consistent finish from the first pass. Engineered stem bonding reinforces the connection between the abrasive head and the steel shank, adding structural stability and reducing the risk of separation during high-speed operation. Sold in a pack of 10 points.
This mounted point is suited for die grinder use in industrial, fabrication, and maintenance environments where close-tolerance grinding of welds, ports, cavities, and hard-to-reach surfaces is required. The A3 shape geometry supports controlled material removal on internal profiles and contoured features. Common users include machinists, tool-and-die workers, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians working on ferrous and hard-metal workpieces.
Designed for use with standard die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 1/4 inch shank. Suitable for grinding ferrous metals, hard alloys, and similar materials where a coarse zirconia alumina abrasive is appropriate.
Mounted points should be installed and changed by qualified personnel following the grinder and abrasive manufacturer guidelines. Confirm the tool RPM rating meets or exceeds the maximum rated speed of the abrasive point before use. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating rotary abrasives. Inspect the shank and abrasive head for cracks or damage before each use and discard any damaged points immediately.
