The WEILER 60855 is a 2-inch ceramic blending disc engineered for rapid material removal with controlled finish quality. Built on Tiger 3D MAX precision-shaped ceramic grain, the disc maintains a sharp cutting edge longer than standard abrasive grain, reducing the need for heavy operator pressure. The Type R attachment mounts directly to a right-angle die grinder. At a maximum of 25,000 RPM and 36-grit ceramic, it is suited for weld blending, surface preparation, and stock removal tasks where both cut rate and finish consistency matter. Fabricators, maintenance technicians, and production grinders install this disc when throughput and disc life are equally critical.
The WEILER 60855 is designed for use across fabrication, shipbuilding, food and pharmaceutical processing facilities, and general facility maintenance environments. The 36-grit ceramic grain targets aggressive blending passes where controlled material removal is required before finishing steps. It mounts to right-angle die grinders via Type R attachment, making it a direct fit for the handheld rotary tools standard in production and field repair workflows. Sold individually, with a standard pack quantity of 50 units for shop stocking.

Installation is performed by the operator or maintenance technician using a compatible right-angle die grinder with a Type R arbor. Confirm the grinder's rated RPM meets or exceeds the disc's 25,000 RPM maximum before mounting. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and replace if any defect is found. Always wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and follow ANSI B7.1 safety requirements for abrasive products.
